Zetron Model 1570 SentriData Alarm Systems

SentriData model 1570
Zetron™SentriData is an alarming device that scans the output data stream of monitoring equipment, such as building monitors, computer firewalls, or PLCs, and searches for predefined ASCII strings.
With the intelligence to follow established procedures when a particular event occurs, SentriData notifies a list of contacts by radio or telephone and forwards a prerecorded voice message or alpha page customized for that alarm. SentriData also reports if there is an unusual period of inactivity.

The purpose of the SentriData is to connect to intelligent equipment and act as the "sentry" to monitor for pre-selected messages and alert appropriate personnel. Many applications have a logging printer that records all activity. The SentriData operates along with a logging printer, physically connecting using an RS-232 interface, an RS-485 interface, or in series with an IEEE 1284-compatible printer port.
